I am inspired by people, myself included, who strive to make a difference. Some people say “life is beautiful,” but when you really think about it life is not always beautiful, which is a daily reminder for millions of people.

With the stuff that TIG is doing, it makes it so easy for kids to find something that they’re passionate about, to help other people all over the world, to make the world a better place, and as a huge unbelievably great side effect of that, they’re going to feel better about themselves. I belong to the Sindh [culture], which is made up of a community of loving and caring people. Actually, it was in my Sindh village where an older man first inspired me. He was known [in my village] for helping others without asking for anything in return. One day I asked this man, “why do you help others without asking to be compensated”?
